Open Parent GATE Informational Meeting

Understanding what the philosophy of gifted education is at Open and knowing how to develop your child's talents at home are just two of the many topics that you will learn in the upcoming parent education class entitled, "GATE: What is it and how can I support it at home?" The session is open to ALL parents and will provide valuable information and tips from both staff and parent perspectives.

Co-facilitated by Peggy Lew (GATE and Magnet Coordinator) and Terri Haywood (Parent Education Coordinator), this class will be held on Thursday, January 26 from 9:00am - 10:30am (in the Teacher's Lounge) and again on Thursday, January 26 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm (in the auditorium). For the evening session, childcare will be available for $5 per child. Please RSVP by Friday, January 20th to Terri at haywood22003@yahoo.com. Be sure to include in your RSVP if you will need childcare or not.
